Dyslexia
Dyslexia affects working memory (visual and auditory) and visual skills. Supporting and developing memory and visual skills in a fun relaxed way is vitally important and works extremely well in developing literacy skills alongside building self esteem and fine motor skills. The majority of people with dyslexia are visual spatial learners and the games and puzzles here build on this strength and style of learning.
The signs of children struggling are present from a young age but dyslexia is frequently not diagnosed until a child is 8 years or older. If your child is struggling or if dyslexia runs in a family then start building key skills before you get a diagnosis.
